Answer


If you need to order a Department Resource (with the exception of stationery) please follow these instructions:

 

  1. Obtain Approval for the resource from your Curriculum Leader (CL).
     
  2. Send an Email to library@scotch.wa.edu.au with the following information:
    • Confirmation that you have approval from your CL.
    • Any details of the resource that you have (e.g. Title, Author/Editor/Director, Year of publication/edition, URL link to the resource, flyer attachment, etc.)
    • GL (General Ledger) code to which the resource is to be charged.
    • Confirm whether the resource is for staff or students.
      • If the resource is for students (e.g. set of textbooks) please send a list of the students who are to be charged.
         
  3. You will receive a Confirmation Email when the resource has been ordered and a copy of the purchase order will be attached for your records.
     
  4. Once a resource has arrived it will be cataloged to the requesting department (if it is for staff), placed in your pigeonhole and you will be notified by email.

 

Examples of resources that are ordered through the library include:

  • Books
  • eBooks
  • Documentaries/movies
  • Subscriptions
  • Memberships for associations
