Answer
Any External Service purchased on your behalf by Scotch (e.g. JacPlus, PearsonPlaces, MathSpace, GROK) will be registered with the Student Number Form of your Email Address (i.e. 123456@student.scotch.wa.edu.au) rather than an email address that identifies your family name and preferred name (i.e. firstname.lastname@student.scotch.wa.edu.au).
We Care About Your Privacy and are required by law to Protect Your Personal Information. Your student number is a unique ID that allows third parties to contact you, but also protects personal information from those who may try to illegally acquire your identity.
We strongly recommend you use the same login ID for any other Scotch-related external service with which you register.
