Answer
If a student comes to the Tech Centre to report that they've lost their laptop, first, Check the Desk to ensure that it hasn't been handed in, then Ask the student if they have looked properly in the last place they saw it. Once you are certain that they have truly misplaced their machine, it is imperative that the following procedure is carried-out correctly:
- Create a Web Help Desk (WHD) Ticket for the Lost Laptop.
- Email the Student's House Head (for Senior School) or Homeroom Teacher (for Middle School).
- Continue to monitor the WHD Ticket for progress. You may close the WHD Ticket has been resolved.
