If you are using high intensity apps, or many apps at the same time it is normal for your computer to get hot, and have a loud fan. It is abnormal however for the fan to be loud and the laptop hot, if you don't have any applications open or your computer is shut.

  • Normal: Having Adobe Creative Cloud Applications active (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and your laptop gets hot, with a loud fan.
  • Abnormal: Having no apps, (or very few) open on your computer and the laptop is still getting very hot, and the fan is very loud.

The easiest way to fix this is usually to Restart your computer, after saving all your work. However if the problems still persists after you have restarted your computer, please visit 1Degree
