Google Chrome is a web browser built by search engine company Google. Software updates are periodically released to fix bugs, improve performance and introduce new features. It is worth keeping Google Chrome
up to date.
- To keep Google Chrome
up to date, open Google Chrome
and click on the triple dot icon in the top right corner.
- If an update is pending, the icon will be coloured:
- Green: An update's been available for 2 days.
Orange: An update's been available for 4 days.
Red: An update's been available for 7 days.

Click Update Google Chrome
. If you don't see this button, you're on the latest version.
