Answer

The CISCO desk phones have a managed Corporate Directory which allows you to Search for contacts within both PLC and Scotch directories.

Select the Contacts button on the handset .
Select Corporate Directory.
Enter in the Search details using the number pad.
Select the correct contact to Dial their number.
