Answer
At Scotch, You can update most apps on your Mac as well as your operating system (OS) through App Store on your Mac. Updating your computer will make it run more efficiently. If there are available updates, this will be displayed in the Apple Menu, or you will see This Notification.
Although You Can Update your current OS, Never Upgrade to the new OS on a Scotch machine as it can cause your computer to stop working. Upgrades will be distributed by 1Degree once all of the issues in the new OS have been ironed out. If you are unsure, please check with 1Degree.
Follow this process to update your OS or apps on your computer:
- Open App Store
.
- Navigate to the Upgrades Tab.
- If there are any updates available, they will show in this tab. Click Update All to install all available updates, or click Update for a specific app. You may need to Restart your computer to complete this process.
