Answer

If a student has Lost her laptop, or her laptop has been Stolen, follow the steps below to proceed;

  1. The student will need to go to the Tech Centre to collect and fill out an Insurance Form to begin the process of obtaining a new laptop.
  2. The form will need to be sent home to the student's Parent/Guardian and their account may be charged depending on the circumstances of the lost laptop, at the discretion of the Tech Centre.
  3. A Loan Laptop will be provided until such a time as the insurance claim has come through and the student's new laptop has been prepared.
     

Please Note: Refer to the Misplaced Laptop FAQ if the student has only misplaced the laptop somewhere on campus and needs assistance locating it.
