Answer
To add multiple titles to a reading list:
- Log into the Oliver
OPAC
- Click on the ‘Management’ button
- Click on ‘Cataloguing’
- Click on ‘Resources’
- Select 'Multi-barcode Search' from the right-hand menu, scan barcodes and click 'Search'
- Select 'Manage Authorities' in the right-hand menu
- In the 'Authority List' field, select 'List'
- In the 'Authority Term' field, enter the name of the list (a prediction list will appear for existing matches)
- ie. SCT SS: Batavia Research Guide (when creating a reading list for books in a research guide, the name after the colon should match the name of the research guide)
- Enter an expiry date if necessary
- In the 'Action' field, select 'Add'
- Click 'Save'
To add a single title to a reading list:
- Log into the Oliver
OPAC
- Click on the ‘Management’ button
- Click on ‘Cataloguing’
- Click on ‘Resources’
- Search for the resource
- Click 'Edit'
- In the 'Lists' field, enter the name of the list (select from a prediction list or use the 'Add' icon to create a new list)
- Click 'Save'
