What should I know if I'm a PLC Student with classes at Scotch?


Answer

Here are a few things you'll need to know if you are a Cross Campus student at Scotch.

To log in to the systems listed below, use your current PLC User ID (UID) and Password. If you have any issues connecting, go to either the PLC or Scotch Tech Centre to verify that you are listed as a Cross Campus Student. 


WiFi

To connect to the WiFi while at Scotch, you will need to choose the PLCScotch network.

 

You then gain access using your PLC User ID (UID) and Password. Additional assistance on connecting wireless network can be found here


Printers

To print at Scotch as a PLC student, you must download the Scotch_Colour and Scotch_Black printers from Self Service  .

To do this open Self Service and search for Scotch_Black & Scotch_Colour . A guide to printing can be found here.


Smart Phones
 

You are not permitted to use your smart phone at Scotch as they have a no use policy. You may only use them if you have been given prior permission by your Scotch teacher.


Student Connect

To access SEQTA Learn (Student)/SEQTA for Students at Scotch;

  1. Visit home.Scotch
  2. Select Student from the top corner
  3. Click SEQTA Learn (Student) 
  4. Log in with your PLC User ID (UID) and Password.


Calendar

To access the calendar;

  1. Visit home.Scotch
  2. Select Student from the top corner
  3. Select Calendar 

 

StudentShared 
 

StudentShared  is used at Scotch to access and store documents. This can be found on Self Service  . If you have any issues accessing this please visit to the Scotch Tech Centre beneath the Bunning's Resource Centre.
