Answer

Within your Teams  window, you are able to add apps and tabs into the menu bar. You are able to add apps such as OneNote  straight away. However for  Word , PowerPoint  and Excel , the files must be created or uploaded prior to adding the apps to your menu bar.
 

  1. If you are using Word PowerPoint  and Excel , you will need to import the file into Teams .
    1. Click on New or Upload from the Files drop down menu in the team window.

       
    2. If Uploading, select the desired document and click Open. Your document will then appear under the Files tab.

       
  2. Click the from the team menu bar.

     
  3. Select the Desired App from the drop down menu.

     
  4. From the pop-up window, Select Your Document and click Save (Only required if  Word PowerPoint  and Excel ).
  5. Your app will now be Accessible From The Menu Bar. You can use the app from within Teams  by clicking on this tab, and edit directly into the document.
