For Apple Computers we recommend shutting down your device at least once every 2 weeks. To shutdown your device;

  1. Select the Apple Icon in the top left corner of your screen
  2. Select Shutdown from the menu. 
  3. If you get this screen, make sure all your work is Saved in applications like Word and Pages.

 

Restarting your laptop can also help with device issues such as slow processing, WiFi issues and general troubleshooting. To Restart your laptop

  1. Select the Apple Icon in the top left corner of your screen
  2. Select Restart from the menu.
