If you are having issues installing applications through Adobe Application Manager , a solution may be to use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool


  1. Go to To use the correct steps, you will have to filter by Mac OS, found in the first drop-down menu. 

  2. There are comprehensive steps found on this site. This process will require you to download the cleaner tool (the link for this download can be found in Step 6). 

  3. Steps 10 and 11 of this process ask you to check log entries for failure and contact Adobe if you have any issues or failures. These can generally be bypassed, and if you are concerned you are having issues, the Tech Centre should be your first port of call. 

  4. Once you have completed all the steps listed on the Adobe guide (including restarting your computer when prompted - this is an important part of the process), your Adobe Application Manager  should then be ready to run as normal and reinstall your Adobe Applications.
