The end of term procedures for non-teaching JML staff are outlined below.

 

  1. Check that boys leaving the College have returned all library resources and inform Teacher Librarians of any that haven't
  2. Check that staff leaving the College have returned all library resources
  3. Email any repairs through to Facilities
  4. Clear/update Desk tickets
  5. Clear Cataloguing, Processing and Reserve shelves
  6. Lock away equipment
  7. Shelve all returned books and books from displays, and put book stands away in cupboards/drawers (check with Display Calendar before shelving themed displays)
  8. Clear all table tops and shelf tops ready for the cleaners
  9. Wipe down vinyl furniture and desks
  10. Water plants / organise watering over holidays
  11. Clear lost property box, returning labelled items to the boys and unlabelled items to main lost property in school reception
  12. Stack all chairs, stools, tables and bean bags, and unlock booth seats for cleaning
  13. Clear benches/desks
  14. Empty fridge and clean kitchen area
  15. Turn off equipment and machines
