Answer

This FAQ is here to help you if you are unable access you Camera and Microphone in Teams.

  1. Check the permissions are ticked in system preferences. System Preferences > Security and Privacy > Privacy.  Make sure that Teams has a tick next to it in the Camera and Microphone sections like below.
  2. If Teams does not appear as an option to be ticked Open teams and go into settings.
  3. Once in settings to to Permissions and ensure Media( Camera, microphone, speakers) is ticked. If you don't have this option, go to step 4.
  4. Click on Devices and try to select the Camera, Microphone & speakers you want. It should prompt for access. Make sure to click YES

If you have any issues accessing or loading the Teams App. Please delete and then reinstall.

Quit teams, then go to your Applications folder and drag the Teams application into the Trash. Empty the trash and then reinstall it from Self Service.
