If you find yourself in a position with a dented laptop, corner or otherwise, come down to the Tech Centre (Senior students) or the JML (Junior and Middle students) IMMEDIATELY. We will issue you with a loan computer, give you an insurance claim form and fix your broken computer.

When you come down to see us make sure that you have done the following:

  • Recent back up (Ensure CrashPlan  has backed up in the last 24 hours)
  • Insurance form – either filled out or remember to collect one.
    • Please note that this insurance form is subject to change.


If this happens Outside of Term Time, you can still bring your laptop to the Tech Centre. We are here all year round during term holidays. The only exception is that we aren't here in the Christmas/New Year Week.


Do Not take your computer to the Apple Store if there are any problems. Come IMMEDIATELY to the Tech Centre. We will fix your Scotch registered laptop. If you take it to the Apple store they will remove certain items that allow your computer to function. Without these preferences your computer will not work! If this occurs on a weekend please come see us first thing on a Monday morning.
