Q. Why am I unable to browse the web in Google Chrome?

If the web works in Safari and Firefox , but not in Google Chrome , check for the Browsec plugin. It is a plugin that helps students avoid our filtering systems, so we have blocked its usage on our network.
- Identify it first by going to Google Chrome > Preferences.
- Once you've reached the Preferences page, click Extensions.
- Look for any extensions which suggest VPN tunneling services such as Browsec. Remove the appropriate extension(s) by clicking on the Trash icon.
- By disabling the extension(s), you should be able to fix the browsing issues. If this does not fix your browsing issue please contact the Techcentre.
