What should I know if I'm a Scotch Student with classes at PLC?
Here are a few things you'll need to know if you are a Cross Campus student at PLC. To log in to the systems listed below, use your current Scotch User ID (UID) and Password. If you have any issues connecting, go to either the PLC or Scotch IT Tech Centre to verify that you are listed as a Cross Campus Student.
To connect to the WiF while at PLC, you will need to choose the PLCScotch network. You then gain access using your Scotch User ID (UID) and Password. Additional assistance on connecting wireless network can be found in this answer.
To print at PLC as a Scotch student, you must download the PLC Colour and PLC Black printers from Self Service. To do this open Self Service and search for PLC Black and Colour. A guide to printing can be found in this answer.
You are not permitted to use your smart phone at PLC unless you are in Year 11 or 12. They must not be out on display, you may only use them if you have been told to by the teacher.
To access Student Connect at PLC, go to home.PLC > Student > Student Connect. Log in with your Scotch User ID (UID) and Password.
To access PLC Wiki's, go to home.PLC > Student > Wiki then select Senior School. Log in with your Scotch User ID (UID) and Password to access the system. To Register for your class Wiki, you will need to go to the PLC IT Tech Centre.
To access the calendar, go to home.PLC > Home > Calendar. You will need to register at the PLC IT Tech Centre prior to connecting.
iDocs can be accessed from idocs.plc.wa.edu.au by Cross Campus students. Register at the PLC IT Tech Center for access.
StudentShared is not used in PLC.
